Romance At Church

It was the fourth month of the seventh day of the year two thousand and eight, when the Bishop had anounced there was going to be a BALL at the church. Everyone was to wear something that fit in the era of Joseph and Emma Smith. But the clothes had to be modest and with the youth also going to be there, the bishop had wanted it to be extra special.

All the girls had stared at each other as they had waited their turn to sing at the pulpit, with the excitement in their hearts they had tried to settle down. Dancing with the guys that were in the singles branch in the ward was going to be the most exciting thing, especially when there was going to be a band there at the stadium that the bishop had made special reserves there, the band was going to be a complete surprise and it would even excite some of the girls that had made the right gueses.

But as sacrement meeting had ended a curtain girl had stayed away in the crowd, she had felt uneasy around people and had wanted to go home. She had no friends at all and she had not been treated right, but a certain handsome fellow had came to her with a big smile and had said "May I escort you to sunday school?" the boy from the singles branch had asked as the girl had smiled shyly and nodded. "Thank you" the girl replied as the boy had taken her to sunday school which was going to be held with the singles. The girl had smiled, maybe church was going to be great after all!
