****************************************************************************

It was a beautifull Fall day as Andrew looked out the window, he could see his younger siblings chase each other around the old oak tree.

Andrew had smiled to himself remembering when he was little of how he played just like that with his father when he was little. But that was many years ago and he would be turning nineteen and that meant he would be going on a mission very soon.

Even though they lived on a farm, and were the poorest family maybe past being dirt poor.

With his mother due to have her seventh child and with the hospital expense because of his brother's heart problem, things were different.

Andrew had sighed hoping that life would turn out just like he wanted it to become and hoped it would turn out like the way HE wanted it to happen.

The door had knocked as Andrew had gotten up seeing his fifteen year old sister standing there watching her brother, LydiaMarie was Andrew's very favorite sister and they were close. Andrew had seen his sister had turn from being a tomboy to turning into a beautiful young woman.

Andrw was so amazed at her testimony and how quickly boys had started to turn their heads as they had seen Andrew's younger sister LydiaMarie.

Andrew had thought it was amazing that LydiaMarie was turning sixteen.

She was five years younger than him and she was the second oldest to the rest of the younger children. "Thinking about going on a mission Andrew is that why you haven't come for breakfast?" LydiaMarie asked of which Andrew had nodded.

LydiaMarie could sense something was wrong and if you were sad deep down then she would have you sit down and have you talk what the problem was about. Andrew had started what he had thought what he had thought was important until LydiaMarie had just stared at him.

"Andrew, God has given us a family and yes we are poor but he has asked young men like you to serve a mission. There are people out there that need a Andrew Joseph Jackson out there. And if you don't go then think of the people you would have taught. What would happen to them?

Andrew I am happy for you to go and experience the life that would change you forever. Alice told me that you guys have talked about you going on a mission. She understands. She wants you to go and become God's tool. You had always wanted to be a missionary when we were little.

Don't ever lower your standards for a girl who doesn't want you to go on a mission but you should date someone who would encourage you to go on a mission. Yes being poor is hard Andrew. But face the fact that God needs you to do his work. We will be fine. I can promise you that for sure"

LydiaMarie had finished what she said putting her arms around her brother's waist and smiled at him. Andrew had smiled back knowing that he was sure darn thankful for the girl who was helping him becoming the man he was suppose to become.
