The Adventures Of The Three Mice

The Adventures Of The Three Mice

In David's Chamber

Written by Mary Church

Once upon a time there lived three mice in David's Chamber, their names were Susie, Dookie, And Cookie. Many times the three mice would go around the picnic tables and eat up left over food that has either been dropped off and onto the floor. Susie decides she wants to climb while Dookie decides to be a daredevil and Cookie is the one that is wise. Like the story in the three little pigs. Susie and Dookie know that cats would eat mice but they didn't think that if they were by any humans then they would be safe.

"Shame Shame Shame!" scorned Cookie. "Mama and Papa were killed by a cat and you don't go by the forcautions? How much shame! oh for shame!" Cookie scolded as Susie and Dookie roll their eyes and went on to what they were doing.

"Awe Cookie you worry to much!" Said Susie as Dookie snickered.

"Yeah You worry to much!" Dookie snickered as Susie laughed.

"Just you wait! The cat will eat you and you will be sorry you didn't listen to me!" Cookie warned her siblings (and she hoped they wouldn't get eaten but hope they could learn a lesson from what had happened to their parents).

"Ooh I'm scared!" Susie pretended to be scared.

"You better be!" said Cookie and with that she turned around and went to find more food.

As the day went on Cookie worried about her siblings, she didn't know if they were safe until she had heard a high pitch squill that had sent cold chills up and down her spine. "SUSIE! DOOKIE!" Cookie squeaked as she rushed as fast as she could to safe her siblings from their last living fate.

As Cookie had ran as fast as she could, all she could think about was saving her sister and brother knowing that it was her duty. That no matter what had happened to her life she would give it up to safe her sister and brother from a awful fate that would become their destruction.

When Cookie had reached up to where her siblings were, she had seen how close Mondie the cat was close to her siblings, seeing her eyes watch Susie and Dookie with hunger in them. "Oh No You don't!" Cookie squeaked as she bit the cat on the tail so hard that the cat yelped and had ran with it's tail behind it's legs. When the cat was over Cookie sighed with relief that her siblings were alright. But what a sight it was to see them all hiding behind some cheese that could not at all protect them from the cat! And they surely had learned their lessons for being foolish like the three little pigs were!

By My Fruits Ye Shall Know Them

Melyissa had looked out the window, she had just been told by her family that if she had joined any other church besides their church, she would be thrown out. That had torn Melyissa's heart apart as she was torn apart from her church family or her real family who would have nothing to do with her if she had joined a church.

"You are not to join the Mormons, I forbid you Mel, don't you think about it for one second!" Mel had remembered her father's words.

Tears formed her eyes as she packed all of her things, she would be homeless but she was not going to stay here and be torn apart from her family.

As Melyissa had boarded the bus, she had went to the church and was baptized, then Melyissa had grabbed for her passport and had given it to a man to show that she was leaving France forever, once she reached America, she would be free for once in her life.

"Oh God. If you're there, please help me be strong. Please help my family under stand why I had to do this" Melyissa had said as she then had closed her eyes and she knew that her life was going to be different for the rest of her life.

****************************************************************************

It was a beautifull Fall day as Andrew looked out the window, he could see his younger siblings chase each other around the old oak tree.

Andrew had smiled to himself remembering when he was little of how he played just like that with his father when he was little. But that was many years ago and he would be turning nineteen and that meant he would be going on a mission very soon.

Even though they lived on a farm, and were the poorest family maybe past being dirt poor.

With his mother due to have her seventh child and with the hospital expense because of his brother's heart problem, things were different.

Andrew had sighed hoping that life would turn out just like he wanted it to become and hoped it would turn out like the way HE wanted it to happen.

The door had knocked as Andrew had gotten up seeing his fifteen year old sister standing there watching her brother, LydiaMarie was Andrew's very favorite sister and they were close. Andrew had seen his sister had turn from being a tomboy to turning into a beautiful young woman.

Andrw was so amazed at her testimony and how quickly boys had started to turn their heads as they had seen Andrew's younger sister LydiaMarie.

Andrew had thought it was amazing that LydiaMarie was turning sixteen.

She was five years younger than him and she was the second oldest to the rest of the younger children. "Thinking about going on a mission Andrew is that why you haven't come for breakfast?" LydiaMarie asked of which Andrew had nodded.

LydiaMarie could sense something was wrong and if you were sad deep down then she would have you sit down and have you talk what the problem was about. Andrew had started what he had thought what he had thought was important until LydiaMarie had just stared at him.

"Andrew, God has given us a family and yes we are poor but he has asked young men like you to serve a mission. There are people out there that need a Andrew Joseph Jackson out there. And if you don't go then think of the people you would have taught. What would happen to them?

Andrew I am happy for you to go and experience the life that would change you forever. Alice told me that you guys have talked about you going on a mission. She understands. She wants you to go and become God's tool. You had always wanted to be a missionary when we were little.

Don't ever lower your standards for a girl who doesn't want you to go on a mission but you should date someone who would encourage you to go on a mission. Yes being poor is hard Andrew. But face the fact that God needs you to do his work. We will be fine. I can promise you that for sure"

LydiaMarie had finished what she said putting her arms around her brother's waist and smiled at him. Andrew had smiled back knowing that he was sure darn thankful for the girl who was helping him becoming the man he was suppose to become.
